Educational Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine, Sports Science, or Management recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC)
AND
- A Postgraduate Degree (Master’s Degree) in a relevant field
Experience
- Minimum thirteen (13) years of experience in the relevant field in a managerial position within a Government Department, Government Corporation, Statutory Institution, Board, or reputed private institution
Internal Applicants
Applicants should possess one of the following:
- Qualifications required for external applicants
OR
- Completion of at least three (03) years of satisfactory service in a Grade I post within the Management Service Category (MM)
AND
- Passed the Second Efficiency Bar Examination
Key Responsibilities
- Plan annual and quarterly stimulant testing programmes
- Develop and conduct anti-doping educational programmes for athletes and sports officials
- Coordinate testing procedures and result management processes
- Supervise Doping Control Officers and related operational staff
- Ensure implementation of decisions taken by the Board of Directors
- Monitor compliance with the Anti-Doping Act and regulations
- Support policy implementation and institutional development initiatives
- Assist the Director General in achieving organizational objectives
