• Monthly Salary: Rs. 48,470 – Rs. 82,800
• Initial Salary Step: Rs. 48,470

Educational Qualifications

Applicants should have:

G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L)

• Passed 6 subjects in one sitting
• Minimum 4 Credit passes including:
  • Mathematics
  • Two languages relevant to interpretation

G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L)

• Passed all 3 subjects in one sitting
• (General Common Test excluded)

Age Limit

Applicants must be:

• Not less than 18 years
• Not more than 30 years

Selection Process

1. Written Examination

Subjects

• Sinhala ↔ Tamil Translation
  OR
• Sinhala ↔ English Translation

Duration

• 1 Hour

Maximum Marks

• 100

Pass Mark

• 40%

2. Practical Test

Candidates who pass the written examination will be called for a practical interpretation test.

• 40%

3. General Interview

• Conducted to verify qualifications
• No marks allocated
