Job Overview
Informatics Group of Companies is hiring a Support Engineer to provide first and second-level technical support for Oracle-based enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing 1st and 2nd-level technical support for Oracle-based applications
- Troubleshooting Oracle Forms, Reports, and PL/SQL-related issues
- Diagnosing and resolving database and application functionality problems
- Performing root-cause analysis and implementing solutions
- Collaborating with developers and product teams to resolve recurring defects
- Supporting application deployments, patches, upgrades, and bug fixes
- Monitoring application performance and ensuring system reliability
- Supporting application integrations and client customizations
- Assisting with testing and implementation of new features
- Acting as a liaison between clients and development teams
- Training and guiding junior support staff when required
Required Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical support or application support
- Strong PL/SQL expertise including:
- Complex SQL queries
- Stored procedures
- Trigger troubleshooting
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Forms and Reports
- Strong knowledge of Oracle databases and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively
- Experience with incident management tools such as:
- Jira
- Zoho
- Insurance domain knowledge will be an added advantage
