Job Responsibilities

• Conduct squash coaching sessions for beginner, intermediate, and advanced-level students.
• Plan and implement structured training programmes to improve technical skills, fitness, and game strategies.
• Identify talented players and provide specialized training for school competitions and tournaments.
• Organize and supervise practices, matches, and inter-school tournaments.
• Ensure proper maintenance and usage of squash courts and sports equipment.
• Promote discipline, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students.
• Coordinate with school administration regarding training schedules and student progress.

Required Qualifications

Applicants should possess:

• Recognized certification in Squash Coaching from a reputed local or international institution or governing body.
• WSF/ASF Level 1 qualification is mandatory.
• WSF/ASF Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications will be considered an added advantage.
• Minimum 03–05 years of coaching experience in squash, preferably at school or club level.
• Experience training players for inter-school or national-level competitions will be an added advantage.
• Sound knowledge of squash rules, techniques, and fitness training methods.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of Sinhala and/or Tamil will be considered an advantage.
• Computer literacy with innovative thinking and presentation skills.
• Physical fitness and energetic personality suitable for conducting training sessions.
• Applicants should be below 55 years of age.
