Job Responsibilities

• Execute internal audit assignments in line with approved audit plans.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, risk management systems, and governance processes.
• Identify process gaps and recommend practical operational improvements.
• Conduct compliance audits according to regulatory and healthcare standards.
• Prepare clear and concise audit reports with actionable recommendations.
• Follow up on audit findings and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Part qualification from:
  • Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL)
  • Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
  • Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA)
  • Or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 01–03 years of experience in internal audit or external audit.
• Exposure to healthcare sector audits will be considered an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, report writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines efficiently.
• Good understanding of internal controls, compliance, and governance principles.
