Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Overseeing and managing all mechanical engineering functions of the bank
• Implementing cost-effective and efficient engineering systems across departments and branch networks
• Leading environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives focused on reducing carbon footprint through energy-efficient designs and optimal resource utilization
• Initiating, supporting, and monitoring environmental management systems compliant with ISO 14001:2015 standards
• Handling technical and administrative responsibilities related to refurbishment and repair projects of assigned branches
• Supervising day-to-day mechanical engineering maintenance activities
• Managing project planning, coordination, monitoring, and timely completion of assigned projects
• Supporting procurement activities including vendor evaluations and technical coordination

Qualifications

Applicants should possess one of the following:

• BSc in Mechanical Engineering with more than 10 years of experience in designing and maintenance of mechanical systems

OR

• NDT / NDES / HNDE in Mechanical Engineering with more than 15 years of experience in designing and maintenance of mechanical systems

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of Civil and Electrical Engineering related to building services and branch infrastructure
• Experience with procurement procedures, technical evaluations, vendor selection, and coordination
• Proven experience in labor handling and supervision of task-oriented engineering teams
• Knowledge of project management principles and engineering operations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Leadership and communication abilities
• Experience in environmental management systems and sustainability initiatives
