Job Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing technical screen printing operations, developing innovative printing techniques, improving product quality, and ensuring efficient bulk production processes within the garment manufacturing environment. The role requires strong technical expertise in screen printing technologies, colour mixing, production troubleshooting, and compliance management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement new screen printing techniques for efficient bulk production.
• Improve productivity while minimizing production costs and operational delays.
• Ensure all pre-production and development techniques are properly transferred to bulk production processes.
• Solve technical issues during production to maintain smooth operational flow.
• Research and implement current trends and innovations in screen printing technology.
• Conduct continuous research and development to improve product quality and production feasibility.
• Ensure compliance with local authority and buyer requirements related to chemicals and testing standards.
• Support quality assurance and process optimization initiatives.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in screen printing technical development within the apparel industry.
• Diploma in:
  • System Management
  • Process Management
  • Business Management
  • Related technical field
• Qualification in chemical-related studies will be considered an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Screen printing techniques
  • Colour mixing
  • Printing quality standards
  • Production troubleshooting
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
• Strong adaptability and flexibility in fast-paced production environments.
• Ability to maintain productivity and effectiveness under pressure.
