Job Description

The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting vision testing procedures, assisting ophthalmologists during patient assessments, and supporting high-quality eye care services within the Eye Centre & LASIK Centre. The role requires technical knowledge of ophthalmic equipment, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct vision testing and preliminary eye examinations for patients.
• Assist Consultant Ophthalmologists during patient assessments and procedures.
• Handle diagnostic equipment related to eye examinations and vision testing.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with appointment coordination.
• Ensure proper handling and maintenance of ophthalmic equipment.
• Support the clinical team in delivering high-quality patient care.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Certificate or Diploma in:
  • Vision Testing
  • Ophthalmic Technology
  • Optometry
  • Related field
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in vision testing within the healthcare sector.
• Experience in handling ophthalmic diagnostic equipment will be considered an added advantage.
• Good communication and patient handling skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of ophthalmic procedures and eye care services.
• Familiarity with vision screening and diagnostic testing procedures.
• Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
