Overview of the Role
The selected candidate will oversee Yamaha motorcycle dealer sales activities within the assigned territory. The role requires strong communication, dealer relationship management, sales coordination, and business development capabilities to achieve company sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly motorcycle sales targets while maximizing profitability
- Monitor and update daily sales and stock reports
- Visit dealer networks within assigned territories and improve operational performance
- Conduct promotional campaigns and after-sales service activities
- Handle dealer inventory and debt collection responsibilities
- Coordinate with dealers to resolve operational and sales-related issues
- Maintain strong relationships with service managers and dealership staff
- Attend sales meetings, training programs, and product launch sessions
- Analyze competitor activities and market trends to support strategic planning
Educational Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- Diploma in Sales/Marketing Management
or - Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (preferred)
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar sales role
- Experience in the automotive industry or motorcycle sales/after-sales sector will be an added advantage
Required Skills
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to analyze sales data and market trends
- Knowledge of CRM systems and sales management tools
- Inventory management and reporting skills
- Strategic thinking and market analysis capabilities
- Ability to work with dealers and stakeholders effectively
- Tamil language proficiency will be an added advantage
