Job Description

The Pawning Officer will oversee all pawning-related activities at the branch while supporting operational functions and ensuring high-quality customer service. The role requires strong operational knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain compliance with internal banking policies and regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate should possess commercial banking experience with direct exposure to pawning operations and branch-level customer handling.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle all pawning activities at the branch
• Support branch operational functions and daily banking activities
• Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain customer satisfaction
• Ensure compliance with banking policies, operational procedures, and regulatory guidelines
• Assess and process pawning transactions accurately
• Maintain proper documentation and operational records
• Coordinate with branch staff to ensure smooth branch operations
• Support branch business and operational efficiency initiatives
• Handle customer inquiries and provide professional assistance

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial banking
• Exposure to pawning operations within branch banking environments
• Good understanding of banking products and services
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent customer service orientation
• Strong attention to detail and operational accuracy
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented banking environment
• Ability to maintain compliance with banking regulations and procedures

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in branch operations and pawning services will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of operational risk management and customer handling is preferred
