Damro is seeking a qualified and physically fit Fire Officer to support fire safety, emergency response, fire prevention, and fire drill activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining fire safety standards and responding effectively to fire-related emergencies.

Qualifications & Experience

• Completed a professional course related to firefighting.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience attached to a fire safety or fire protection unit.
• Practical involvement in firefighting and emergency response activities.
• Good knowledge and training in fire safety procedures and Fire Drills.
• Age should be below 45 years.
• Should possess good physical fitness.
• Previous service in a Fire Services Department or a firefighting unit of the armed forces will be an added advantage.
• Should be a permanent resident within 40 km of the relevant workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out fire safety and fire prevention activities.
• Respond to fire emergencies and support effective firefighting operations.
• Conduct and participate in regular fire drills.
• Monitor fire safety equipment and ensure readiness for emergency situations.
• Support emergency evacuation and safety procedures.
• Identify potential fire hazards and take appropriate preventive measures.
• Maintain fire safety standards within the workplace.
• Assist in implementing fire emergency procedures and safety practices.

• Strong knowledge of firefighting and fire safety procedures.
• Practical emergency response skills.
• Knowledge of fire drills and evacuation procedures.
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively during emergencies.
• Good physical fitness and stamina.
• Strong observation and safety awareness.
• Ability to work responsibly in a fire safety environment.
