Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Graphic Design or a related field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong knowledge of typography, page layout, colour management, and print production.
• Passion for local and international sporting events.
• Previous experience in sports data or sports publications will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet daily publication deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and produce the daily sports paper with attractive, accurate, and publication-ready layouts.
• Format sports fixtures, statistics, tables, and other sports information for publication.
• Prepare print-ready artwork and ensure all files meet production standards.
• Edit images, advertisements, and page layouts while maintaining brand consistency.
• Coordinate with editorial, sports data, and printing teams to ensure timely publication.
• Design creative promotional materials and advertisements.

Required Skills

• Strong graphic design and visual communication skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
• Good understanding of typography, page composition, and colour management.
• Knowledge of print production and publication standards.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively with editorial, sports data, and printing teams.
• Interest in sports and sporting events.
• Willingness to work rotational shifts.

Important Notes

• The position requires a rotational shift schedule.
• Employees will work two weeks of day shifts and two weeks of night shifts each month.
• Day Shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Night Shift: 5:00 PM – 1:30 AM
• Candidates should be able to consistently meet daily publication deadlines.
• Previous experience in sports data or sports publications is an added advantage.
