Key Responsibilities

• Architect and oversee the evolution of the bank’s LAN/WAN security ecosystem while ensuring a Zero Trust security posture
• Act as the lead technical liaison for Central Bank regulators and external auditors
• Ensure compliance with industry standards including PCI-DSS and ISO 27001
• Lead vulnerability remediation, patch management, and threat mitigation initiatives
• Define long-term technology roadmaps for security appliances and infrastructure
• Drive AI/ML adoption and intelligent automation within IT infrastructure operations
• Design scalable and resilient security architectures supporting business continuity
• Define and enforce global system standards and SOPs across network security operations
• Lead incident response activities and coordinate troubleshooting during major security incidents

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field recognized by the UGC
• Minimum of 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in network security
• At least 2 years of experience in a senior or lead capacity within enterprise or banking environments
• Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortigate, Cisco ASA, Checkpoint)
  • IPS
  • Web Application Firewalls (WAF)
  • Load Balancers (ADC)
  • Proxy Servers
  • AAA systems
• Practical experience in:
  • SASE
  • SD-WAN
  • Software-Defined Networking (SDN)
• Strong analytical, communication, project management, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage high-pressure situations and lead cross-functional teams effectively
