Job Overview

The selected candidate will handle procurement and purchasing activities related to hospital operations while ensuring timely supply management, proper documentation, and cost-effective procurement practices.

Job Role

• Handle purchasing and procurement activities for hospital supplies, equipment, and services
• Prepare purchase orders, quotations, and maintain procurement records accurately
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of medical and non-medical items
• Monitor stock levels and support inventory management
• Compare prices and negotiate with suppliers for cost-effective purchasing
• Ensure purchased items meet hospital quality standards and requirements
• Maintain documentation related to procurement and supplier transactions
• Coordinate with hospital departments to identify purchasing needs
• Follow procurement procedures and hospital policies efficiently
• Prepare procurement reports and management updates

Requirements

• Passed G.C.E. A/L examination
• Certificate/Diploma or relevant qualification in Supply Chain Management, Material Management, or Purchasing
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in a similar role
• Computer literacy with knowledge of MS Office and email communication
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
