Qualifications & Experience

• Attorney-at-Law qualification.
• Strong skills in legal drafting, documentation management, and legal coordination.
• Good understanding of commercial agreements and operational legal documentation.
• Experience or exposure to litigation coordination and property-related legal matters.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Sinhala.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and coordinate legal documents, commercial agreements, and contracts.
• Provide day-to-day legal operational support across group companies and departments.
• Assist with legal research, preliminary legal assessments, and document standardization.
• Coordinate with external legal counsel on litigation-related matters.
• Represent the organization by visiting courts, police stations, land registries, and government institutions for inquiries, investigations, and official legal matters when required.
• Maintain legal documentation and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Support legal risk management and corporate governance initiatives.
