Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical processes.

• Supervise daily laboratory operations, including specimen processing, analyser operations and workflow across all laboratory benches.
• Prepare staff rosters and allocate team members to appropriate workstations.
• Ensure the smooth and efficient flow of laboratory operations.
• Identify and prioritize urgent specimens.
• Review laboratory results and coordinate with the reference laboratory whenever additional support is required.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.
• Identify situations requiring further technical assistance.
• Support the overall quality and efficiency of laboratory services.
