Job Description

Richard Pieris Finance Limited is seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking IT professional to join its Head Office team. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting IT issues, maintaining networks, and supporting hardware and software systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting services.
• Offer first-level IT support for:
  • Hardware
  • Software
  • Network-related issues
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot:
  • Desktop computers
  • Laptops
  • Printers
  • Mobile devices
• Assist users with account setup and maintenance.
• Respond to technical support requests via:
  • Calls
  • Emails
  • Face-to-face support
• Monitor and maintain LAN and Wi-Fi connectivity.
• Perform basic server room maintenance tasks.
• Install and update:
  • Operating systems
  • Drivers
  • Business applications
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and security practices.
• Support endpoint security and data backup procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or NVQ Level 4/5 in:
  • Information Technology
  • Computer Hardware
  • Networking
  • Related field
• Bachelor’s Degree in IT will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to assist non-technical users.
• Good:
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Time management skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Passion to learn and grow in an IT career.
