Key Responsibilities

• Handle the equity portfolio of MBSL (Trading & Investment)
• Overlook the MBSL-Client Portfolio Management operations and maintain the portfolio profitably
• Conduct Investment Committee meetings
• Update the MBSL portfolio and make timely buy and sell decisions
• Prepare reports related to Corporate Advisory and Capital Market functions
• Coordinate matters relating to the Integrated Risk Management Committee and client portfolios
• Carry out yearly re-composition of the midcap index
• Promote business related to Corporate Advisory and Capital Markets while achieving business targets
• Conduct Business Valuations and Financial Analysis

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess:

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or related fields
• Professional qualifications in Finance or Capital Markets will be an added advantage
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a reputed bank or financial institution in a relevant field

OR

• Relevant recognized Diploma / G.C.E. (A/L) qualification with 3 years’ experience in Executive capacity

OR

• G.C.E. (O/L) qualification with 5 years’ experience in Executive capacity

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and financial analysis skills
• Knowledge of investment management and capital markets
• Ability to manage client portfolios and investment operations
• Good communication and reporting skills
• Decision-making capability in trading and investments
