Qualifications & Experience

• Professional qualification in Occupational Health and Safety Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Officer in building construction projects.
• Sound knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Experience in implementing workplace safety policies and procedures.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to identify workplace hazards and recommend preventive measures.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor occupational health, safety, and environmental management systems.
• Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to ensure compliance with HSE standards.
• Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox meetings, and awareness programs for employees.
• Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare reports.
• Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and statutory regulations.
• Maintain safety documentation, records, and compliance reports.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and response activities.
• Promote a strong safety culture across project sites.
