Job Description

C.J. Patel Group, a diversified multinational organization with over 90 years of history, is looking for a strategic and results-oriented General Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading the FMCG Sales and Distribution division, ensuring strong market execution, sustainable growth, and operational excellence.

This role requires a dynamic leader capable of managing cross-functional teams, building strong partnerships with international principals, and delivering consistent business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall business strategy to achieve revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion
• Manage full P&L responsibilities including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance
• Drive national sales and marketing performance across all channels
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key stakeholders
• Strengthen partnerships with international brands and overseas principals
• Oversee supply chain and distribution efficiency to ensure optimal product availability
• Utilize market data and analytics for strategic decision-making
• Lead product development initiatives, sourcing, and portfolio expansion
• Identify growth opportunities and improve market performance
• Manage and develop high-performing cross-functional teams
• Collaborate with manufacturing partners for demand planning and production alignment

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or related field
• Minimum 10+ years of senior leadership experience in FMCG sales and distribution
• Proven experience managing full business operations and large teams
• Strong exposure to international brands and global business environments
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain and distribution in FMCG sector
• Strong financial management and P&L experience
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
