Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Managing day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger functions
• Preparing and maintaining accounting records, reconciliations, and financial documentation
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes
• Assisting in budgets, cash flow statements, forecasts, and management reports
• Reconciling bank accounts, supplier balances, and ledger accounts
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Coordinating with banks, auditors, and external stakeholders
• Supporting internal and external audit processes
• Performing additional finance and accounting duties assigned by management

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Management, or a related field from a recognized university
• Part qualification in CA / CIMA / CMA
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or audit
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Knowledge of accounting and ERP systems
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently under pressure and meet deadlines
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail

Preference will be given to candidates residing in or around Akuressa (Matara District).
