Financial Accountant

📍 Location

Colombo, Sri Lanka

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with accounting standards
• Manage:
  • 💰 Company payments
  • 💵 Cash flow
  • 🏦 Treasury functions
• Handle tax-related matters:
  • VAT
  • Income Tax
  • SSCL
  • Other statutory compliance
• Liaise with external auditors and coordinate audits
• Act as the main contact with banks & financial institutions
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations

🎓 Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in:
  • Finance
  • Accounting
  • Or related field
• Part qualification in:
  • CA Sri Lanka
  • CIMA
  • ACCA
• Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Sri Lankan taxation
  • Statutory regulations
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
