Qualifications & Experience
- Part-qualified or fully qualified in AAT, ACCA, CIMA, CA, or an equivalent professional qualification
- Two to three years of relevant experience in a similar finance role, preferably within the non-profit or development sector
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or Sage accounting software and Microsoft Excel
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day financial operations and donor financial reporting
- Process payments, manage petty cash and perform bank reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks or Sage accounting software
- Support audits, compliance checks and project-related financial activities
- Track and reconcile advances and settlements and prepare bank reconciliations
- Support project teams with financial tracking, budget monitoring and reporting
- Perform daily system backups to safeguard financial data and ensure data integrity
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, organisational policies and donor-specific financial requirements
- Provide administrative support, including banking, photocopying, filing and document management

- Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and work effectively as part of a team
