Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in the Life Insurance Claims field.
• Proven knowledge and practical experience in underwriting, policy servicing, and life claims adjudication.
• Good understanding of insurance-related medical and legal aspects.
• Strong technical knowledge of life insurance underwriting and claims management.
• High level of computer literacy and Management Information System (MIS) competencies.
• Knowledge of reinsurance and life insurance products will be an added advantage.
• Proficiency in speaking and writing Tamil will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Process life insurance claims accurately and ensure eligible claim payments are made promptly.
• Verify claim payments and maintain high standards of accuracy.
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining quality service standards.
• Provide training and knowledge sharing to internal, field, and branch staff.
• Prepare and submit periodic MIS reports, including reinsurance-related reports.
• Assist with process improvements and system development initiatives.
• Handle additional tasks assigned by management as required.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements throughout the claims process.
