Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or a professional qualification, preferably in Finance, Business Management, Law, or Insurance from a UGC approved university or institute.

• Age is preferably below 35 years.

• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar capacity.

• Prior experience in corporate Compliance functions is a definite advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain comprehensive records of all official correspondence with the Insurance Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka, AML authorities, and other relevant government institutions.

• Monitor Over One Million transaction reporting activities in close collaboration with the Finance Department.

• Assist the Assistant Manager Compliance throughout the suspicious transaction reporting process.

• Assist the Head of Department in executing daily compliance and essential regulatory activities.

• Support compliance with the Companies Act, Insurance Act, and other relevant rules, regulations, and legal frameworks related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML).

• Assist in conducting compliance audits for the Insurance Regulatory Commission of Sri Lanka and prepare the necessary certifications on a quarterly basis.

• Update and circulate Public Enterprise Department (PED) and Public Finance Circulars directly to Senior Management.

• Collaborate actively with other departments to compile and provide relevant compliance-related data as required.
