Qualifications & Experience

• NCED, DA, or an equivalent qualification in Drafting or Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of drafting experience in preparing structural and architectural shop drawings for building construction projects.
• Strong understanding of structural and architectural drawing standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or equivalent CAD software.
• Ability to interpret engineering and architectural designs accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare structural and architectural shop drawings for building construction projects.
• Produce detailed technical drawings based on engineering and architectural specifications.
• Revise and update drawings according to design changes and site requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Maintain drawing records and document revisions.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications and construction standards.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings upon project completion.
• Provide drafting support throughout the project lifecycle.
