The selected candidate will be responsible for managing enterprise database environments, ensuring database security, optimizing performance, implementing backup and recovery strategies, and supporting business-critical banking systems.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Database Administrator in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Database (12c, 19c, or later versions).
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2016, 2019, or 2022).
• Strong expertise in database installation, configuration, and patch management.
• Knowledge of backup and recovery tools such as RMAN and SQL Server Backup.
• Experience with high availability and disaster recovery technologies.
• Knowledge of Oracle Data Guard, Oracle RAC, SQL Server Always On, and clustering technologies.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and manage Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and configurations to improve efficiency.
• Design and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies in compliance with organizational standards.
• Maintain database security, including access controls, encryption, auditing, Audit Vault, and Database Firewall management.
• Ensure high availability through replication, clustering, Oracle RAC, Data Guard, and related technologies.
• Troubleshoot database-related issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Support incident, change, and release management processes.
• Implement database maintenance procedures and best practices.
• Ensure database reliability, availability, and performance across enterprise systems.
