Job Description

Delmege Interiors is seeking a dynamic and experienced design leader to head the Interior Design team and drive the successful delivery of high-quality turnkey interior projects across commercial and residential sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, inspire, mentor, and develop the Interior Design team.
• Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, innovation, and design excellence.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, business objectives, functional requirements, and budget.
• Develop innovative and practical design concepts within agreed budgets and project timelines.
• Coordinate with Sales, Quantity Surveying (QS), and Project Management teams throughout project execution.
• Develop and present design concepts, space-planning solutions, mood boards, material palettes, 3D visualizations, and client presentations.
• Lead the selection and specification of materials, finishes, furniture, fixtures, lighting, and bespoke elements.
• Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Review technical drawings, shop drawings, and construction details.
• Ensure designs comply with building regulations, industry standards, health and safety requirements, and sustainability practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in interior design or interior architecture.
• At least 5 years in a leadership or senior management role.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary design teams and delivering large-scale turnkey interior fit-out projects.
• Experience in both commercial and residential interior projects.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent knowledge of construction methodologies, interior detailing, materials, MEP coordination, and building regulations.
• Outstanding portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical expertise, innovation, and successful project delivery.
• Candidates should be able to present previously implemented projects personally conceived, designed, and led by them.
