Job Description

Delmege Forsyth Energy, the authorized macro distributor for Shell Lubricants in Sri Lanka, is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Assistant Manager – Industrial Sales to support the growth of its industrial sales business and build long-term relationships with customers across diverse industries.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the industrial sector.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and deliver excellent customer service.
• Provide technical support and recommend suitable lubricant solutions based on customer requirements.
• Monitor market developments and competitor activities.
• Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and customer visit reports while working closely with the sales team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or professional qualification in:
  • Marketing
  • Business Management
  • Engineering
  • Related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial sales, preferably in:
  • Lubricants
  • Engineering products
  • Machinery
  • Industrial equipment
• Sound knowledge of industrial lubricant applications will be an added advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated, target-oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel across Sri Lanka.
