Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Providing strategic leadership and overall institutional direction
• Driving commercialization, technology transfer, and industry partnerships
• Strengthening national and international research collaborations
• Leading institutional growth, operational excellence, and financial sustainability
• Building a high-performance innovation-driven culture
• Positioning SLINTEC as a regional leader in applied research and advanced technology
• Leading sustainable public-private partnership initiatives
• Working closely with the Board of Directors to implement organizational strategy
• Developing research commercialization projects aligned with national priorities
• Seeking funding opportunities through government institutions and multilateral partners

Candidate Profile

Applicants should possess:

• Proven senior leadership experience in science, technology, innovation, commercialization, or research-driven organizations
• Strong strategic, financial, and stakeholder management capabilities
• Experience in research commercialization, IP management, innovation ecosystems, or technology enterprises
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• A postgraduate qualification in Science, Engineering, Technology Management, Business Administration, or a related field will be an added advantage

Contract Details

• Initial contract period of 3 years
• Subject to a six-month probation period
• Extension or renewal will be based on annual performance evaluations and KPI achievements
• The CEO will report directly to the Chairman / Board of Directors
