Qualifications & Experience

• G.C.E. Advanced Level or equivalent qualification.
• Certificate or Diploma in Nursing, Caregiving or a related healthcare field will be an added advantage.
• 0–2 years of experience in a similar healthcare or caregiving role will be preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care.
• Basic knowledge of ward procedures and hygiene practices.
• Basic understanding of patient safety and healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care and assist with daily patient needs.
• Support nurses and medical staff with ward activities and patient monitoring.
• Maintain cleanliness, comfort and safety of patients.
• Assist patients with mobility, feeding and personal care when required.
• Observe patients and promptly report concerns to nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate basic records and support routine ward documentation.
• Follow hospital policies and procedures.
• Maintain infection-control standards and patient safety practices.
• Assist healthcare professionals in providing a comfortable and supportive patient environment.
• Perform other caregiving and ward-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
