Hirdaramani Vavuniya is seeking an experienced and technically skilled Technical Manager to provide technical expertise, improve manufacturing processes and drive operational efficiency across assigned customer accounts and line-feeding operations.

Company Overview

Hirdaramani is an established apparel manufacturing organization with operations focused on delivering quality products and efficient manufacturing solutions. The Technical Manager will contribute to technical performance, process optimization and operational excellence within the Vavuniya operation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree and/or Diploma in Garment Manufacturing, Industrial Management, Quality Management or a related field.
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in a similar capacity.
• Specialized knowledge of knit sewing operations, particularly in:
  • Outerwear manufacturing
  • Underwear manufacturing
• Strong understanding of:
  • Product testing
  • Quality standards
  • Customer requirements
  • Key technical processes
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and expertise to assigned customer accounts, ensuring product and process requirements are met.
• Monitor and analyse Quick Change Over (QCO) efficiency metrics.
• Drive target achievement across line-feeding operations.
• Lead pattern adjustments and process improvements.
• Optimize Standard Minute Value (SMV) and enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Participate in management meetings.
• Prepare timely technical and performance reports.
• Work collaboratively with relevant teams to improve technical and operational performance.

• Technical expertise in garment manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of knit sewing operations.
• Knowledge of outerwear and underwear manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of product testing and quality standards.
