Sejaya Micro Credit Limited is seeking a proactive and experienced Branch Manager to lead its Trincomalee branch, oversee branch operations and drive sustainable growth while maintaining the quality of the branch’s loan portfolio.

The Branch Manager will be responsible for ensuring sustainable branch growth, maintaining portfolio quality and delivering effective branch operations and customer service.

Qualifications & Experience

• Recognized qualification such as:
  • Diploma in Microfinance
  • Finance-related qualification
  • AAT qualification
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the microfinance or financial services sector.
• At least 3 years of experience in an Assistant Manager role.
• Language proficiency in Tamil.
• Proficiency in English and Sinhala will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure sustainable growth and maintain the quality of the branch’s loan portfolio.
• Oversee and coordinate all branch operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Supervise, motivate and support branch staff to achieve performance and operational targets.
• Ensure full compliance with SMCL’s policies, procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Take responsibility for branch staff and administration.
• Monitor branch performance and support the achievement of organizational objectives.
• Maintain effective operational standards and service quality within the branch.
