Qualifications & Experience

• G.C.E. Advanced Level qualification in any stream.
• Certificate or Diploma in Accounting, Business Administration or a related field will be an added advantage.
• 0–2 years of experience in billing, cashiering or a similar role.
• Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting will be preferable.
• Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good numerical, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work accurately and maintain billing records responsibly.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process patient bills accurately and on time.
• Verify charges, payments, deposits and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with patients, nurses, doctors and relevant hospital departments regarding billing details.
• Update billing records and maintain proper documentation.
• Assist in handling inquiries related to bills, payments and account balances.
• Support daily billing operations.
• Ensure billing information is accurately recorded and maintained.
• Identify and clarify billing discrepancies when required.
• Perform other billing and administrative duties assigned by the supervisor.
