Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or part qualification in Accounting, Finance, AAT or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience with BUSY Accounting Software will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel.
• Experience in a trading, importing or distribution company will be an advantage.
• Willingness to learn and develop accounting knowledge and skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Enter accounting transactions in BUSY Accounting Software.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers and receipts.
• Maintain customer and supplier ledgers.
• Follow up on outstanding payments.
• Reconcile customer and supplier statements.
• Assist with bank and cash reconciliations.
• Maintain petty cash records.
• Assist with month-end closing activities.
• Maintain proper filing of accounting documents.
• Assist with audits, tax documentation and other statutory requirements.
• Prepare VAT, SSCL, EPF and ETF schedules and forms.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties assigned by management.

Required Skills

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Ability to work with accounting software.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong teamwork and coordination skills.

• Willingness to learn and take on new responsibilities.
