Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess:

• An ACI Dealing Certificate or a Certificate in Treasury & Foreign Exchange Operations offered by CBSL.
• A Diploma in Treasury & Risk Management offered by IBSL is preferred.
• A recognized university degree or full professional qualification in Banking, CIMA, ACCA or CFV FRM.
• 3 years of working experience, including a minimum of 1 year in a position relevant to Treasury or Finance, preferably in the banking industry.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Higher-level computer literacy, particularly MS Office.
• Preferably be less than 35 years of age.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform dealing activities relating to Cash Flow Management, Money Market, Foreign Exchange and Fixed Income Operations under the guidance of Treasury dealers.
• Predict and analyse market movements.
• Prepare reports on market movements for Management.
• Prepare daily market analysis along with the Treasury position.
• Provide inputs for the Asset-Liability Committee (ALCO).
• Prepare reports for Management covering deal profitability, risks and emerging market trends.

Required Skills

• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Good understanding of treasury and financial markets.
• Ability to analyse market movements and trends.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to prepare clear management reports.
• Knowledge of cash flow management, money markets, foreign exchange and fixed income operations.
• Good computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office.
• Self-motivation and the ability to work effectively within a Treasury team.
• Ability to identify and assess financial risks and market trends.
