Job Description

Brandix is seeking an enthusiastic Intern – Automation & Innovation to support the design, development, simulation, and implementation of automation solutions aimed at improving manufacturing efficiency and productivity.

The role provides practical exposure to automation projects, prototype development, engineering problem-solving, and continuous improvement within a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Industrial Engineering and Technical teams to evaluate samples/sketches and develop simplified automation solutions.
• Design, program, simulate, test, and implement automated machinery and processes.
• Develop solutions for sampling and bulk production requirements.
• Coordinate with external suppliers and workshops to ensure project deliverables meet business requirements.
• Ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Drive automation projects from concept through bulk implementation.
• Support project planning, cost estimation, and management reporting.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and throughput.
• Develop prototype modules and evaluate automation opportunities.
• Work with cross-functional teams to implement automation solutions successfully.
• Contribute to reducing manufacturing costs and improving production processes.

Qualifications & Requirements

• DB.Tech / B.Sc. / HND in:
  • Mechatronics Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electronic Engineering
  • Related engineering disciplines
• Mechatronics Engineering is preferred.
• Good knowledge of 3D mechanical designing, particularly SolidWorks.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to identify innovative engineering solutions.
• Ability to work effectively on technical projects.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Positive attitude and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
