Berendina Micro Investments Company Limited is seeking an experienced and creative marketing professional for the position of Assistant Marketing Manager. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing marketing strategies, strengthening brand identity, managing digital marketing initiatives, handling public relations activities, and supporting business growth through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in marketing, communication, preferably in NGO, microfinance, or service sectors will be an added advantage.
• Strong expertise in brand management, public relations, media handling, and marketing analytics.
• Knowledge of branding frameworks, digital marketing strategies, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in campaign planning, communication strategies, and brand development activities.
• Understanding of social media platforms, digital advertising, and marketing trends.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Department Planning

• Develop and arrange annual marketing and communication action plans aligned with corporate goals.
• Ensure timely execution of marketing campaigns, awareness programs, and publications.
• Conduct monthly social media trend analysis and propose new initiatives.

Brand Development & Management

• Define and implement brand positioning strategies in collaboration with the Head of Department and senior management.
• Maintain brand guideline manuals including visual identity, tone, storytelling, and messaging.
• Lead initiatives to strengthen brand equity through awareness, consistency, and stakeholder trust.
• Conduct brand audits and perception surveys to measure brand awareness, recognition, and credibility.
• Apply global branding concepts to build a strong and differentiated brand identity.

Digital Marketing & Analytics

• Oversee social media strategies, scheduling, and content consistency.
• Ensure monthly and weekly performance reports with analytics are prepared.
• Implement SEO and digital advertising strategies.
• Monitor digital marketing performance and identify improvement opportunities.

Media Relations & Public Relations

• Draft press releases and arrange media interviews.
• Maintain strong relationships with media organizations.
• Secure unpaid media coverage opportunities.
• Apply for relevant awards and memberships.

Stakeholder & Brand Advocacy

• Collect and communicate impactful client stories to strengthen brand storytelling.
• Analyze competitor strategies and approaches.
• Align marketing activities with overall organizational objectives.
• Strengthen relationships with key stakeholders and promote brand advocacy.
