Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams Sri Lanka is seeking a motivated and passionate individual to join its team as an Intern – Sustainability. This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical experience in sustainability, environmental initiatives, resource efficiency, waste management, and ESG-related activities within a leading integrated hospitality destination.
The selected intern will support the planning and implementation of sustainability initiatives, assist with sustainability data and reporting, coordinate awareness activities, and gain exposure to environmental audits, compliance activities, and sustainability assessments.

Qualifications & Experience
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across different teams and departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and implementation of sustainability initiatives across the property.
- Assist in collecting, analysing, and maintaining sustainability-related data and reports.
- Coordinate awareness campaigns and colleague engagement activities that promote sustainable practices.
- Support environmental audits, compliance activities, and sustainability assessments.
- Collaborate with internal departments to monitor and improve resource efficiency.
- Support waste management improvement initiatives.
- Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and documentation related to sustainability projects.
- Stay informed about sustainability trends and best practices.
- Contribute ideas and recommendations to support continuous improvement in sustainability practices.
- Support sustainability-related activities and projects as required by the team.
