Qualifications & Requirements

Applicants should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Minimum 4 years of banking experience.
• Comprehensive understanding of overall banking operations.
• Full or part qualification in AAT, ICASL, CIMA, or another relevant professional qualification.
• A degree in Finance or Accounting will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power BI (preferred).
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• High attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Passion for automation and process improvement.
• Self-driven and proactive personality.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong understanding of financial concepts, banking products, and business drivers.

Key Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

• Performing lending product reconciliations.
• Performing Treasury Asset and Liability reconciliations.
• Performing L1 & L2 monthly reconciliations.
• Developing, publishing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and data models.
• Providing information on loans, advances, and treasury products to management, external regulators, and auditors.
• Preparing disclosures relating to loans, advances, and treasury products for quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Preparing monthly salary-related accounting entries.
• Participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for lending and treasury products.
• Performing non-system-related impairment calculations.
• Assisting in preparing data for CBSL regulatory returns.
