Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess:

• Age below 30 years.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good command of English and Sinhala (both written and spoken).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in underwriting or a related insurance field will be a definite advantage.
• School leavers who have successfully completed G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) are encouraged to apply.
• Professional or academic qualifications in Insurance or a related field will be an added advantage.
• Undergraduate students pursuing an Insurance-related degree (internship requirement) are also encouraged to apply.

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure underwriting procedures and documentation comply with company guidelines.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal departments, business partners, and customers.
• Stay updated with insurance industry standards, policies, procedures, and regulatory changes.
• Process insurance claims and maintain related documentation according to company procedures.
• Prepare and maintain accurate reports and management information (MIS).
• Support daily operational and administrative functions within the insurance department.
