Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Part qualification in CA, CIMA, ACCA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting and auditing.
• Experience in Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs) or audit firms will be preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant accounting software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Sinhala and English.
• Proficiency in Tamil will be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze the financial performance of branches and regional operations, providing reports and insights for management decision-making.
• Conduct regular branch visits to ensure compliance with finance and accounting policies.
• Supervise the training and performance of main and relief cashiers according to company procedures.
• Authorize branch payment vouchers while ensuring compliance with financial guidelines.
• Reconcile branch fixed assets with the main fixed asset register in a timely manner.
• Support the digitalization of branch processes, KPIs, and management dashboards.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial regulations, and accounting standards.
• Prepare financial reports and recommend process improvements where necessary.
