Job Overview
Sri Lanka Cricket is seeking suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill multiple coaching positions across the Super Province, Province, and District levels. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of cricket at the grassroots and elite levels in Sri Lanka. The roles involve planning and delivering coaching programmes, preparing teams for domestic competitions, and fostering a high-performance environment. Successful candidates will play a key role in shaping the future of Sri Lankan cricket by working closely with players, schools, clubs, and provincial associations.

Job Title: Super Province | Province & District Coaches
Job Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka

Vacancies: Multiple positions available including Super Provincial Head Coach, Provincial Coach, District Coach, and Specialized Coaches (Batting, Fast Bowling, Spin Bowling, Fielding & Wicketkeeping)

The organization manages national teams, domestic competitions, and pathway programmes aimed at identifying and nurturing talent from the school and club levels to the international stage. Qualifications & Experience
Super Province Positions:
- Level 3 Coaching Qualification
Province, District & Specialized Coach Positions:
- Level 2 Coaching Qualification
All Positions:
- First-Class or International playing experience
- Experience in coaching elite domestic, pathway, school, club, or development programmes
- Demonstrable coaching experience with individuals and teams
- Sound understanding of player development and talent identification
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment
- Competent computer skills with Microsoft applications
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver coaching programmes for players and teams within the assigned Super Province, Province, or District
- Prepare teams for domestic competitions and assigned tournaments
- Develop and monitor Individual Player Development Plans
- Foster a positive, player-centred and high-performance environment
- Work closely with schools, clubs, provincial associations, and other stakeholders to promote cricket development
- Ensure alignment with Sri Lanka Cricket’s coaching philosophy and performance objectives
Required Skills
- Expert coaching knowledge in the relevant discipline
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to identify and develop talent
- Organisational and planning capabilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting
- Adaptability to work with players at various developmental stages
