Qualifications & Experience

the ideal candidate profile requires:

• Successfully completed G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination.

• Minimum 01 year of professional experience in a similar capacity, with a preference for exposure within a Finance Company.

• Good Knowledge in MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel.

• IT Application familiarity and exposure to using specialized accounting software will be considered an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle the core cashier function and manage routine petty cash payments.

• Ensure that the daily cash collection is in due balance and execute proper banking of daily cash payments.

• Duly maintain all allocated counter floats and complete accurate daily reconciliations.

• Serve the branch customers efficiently and without delays.

• Conduct systematic physical verification of cash on a daily basis.

• Maintain comprehensive periodic transaction reports for management review.

Required Skills

• Ability to work independently and effectively under frontline retail constraints.

• Fair communication skills in both English and Sinhala (Tamil speaking candidates are also highly encouraged to apply).

• Professional email correspondence capabilities and strong interpersonal skills.

• High level of mathematical accuracy, personal integrity, and attention to detail.
