Qualifications & Experience
the ideal candidate profile requires:
Successfully completed G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination.
Minimum 01 year of professional experience in a similar capacity, with a preference for exposure within a Finance Company.
Good Knowledge in MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
IT Application familiarity and exposure to using specialized accounting software will be considered an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Handle the core cashier function and manage routine petty cash payments.
Ensure that the daily cash collection is in due balance and execute proper banking of daily cash payments.
Duly maintain all allocated counter floats and complete accurate daily reconciliations.
Serve the branch customers efficiently and without delays.
Conduct systematic physical verification of cash on a daily basis.
Maintain comprehensive periodic transaction reports for management review.
Required Skills
Ability to work independently and effectively under frontline retail constraints.
Fair communication skills in both English and Sinhala (Tamil speaking candidates are also highly encouraged to apply).
Professional email correspondence capabilities and strong interpersonal skills.
High level of mathematical accuracy, personal integrity, and attention to detail.
