The High Commission of the Republic of Maldives in Colombo is seeking applications from qualified Sri Lankan citizens for the position of Attendant. The selected candidate will be responsible for general maintenance duties and supporting the day-to-day operations of the High Commission.

Organization Overview

The High Commission of the Republic of Maldives in Colombo serves as the diplomatic mission representing the Government of Maldives in Sri Lanka and provides consular, diplomatic, and administrative services.

Qualifications & Experience

• Must be a Sri Lankan citizen.
• Good communication skills (English proficiency preferred).
• Valid Sri Lankan Driving Licence (Categories A and B1).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in basic maintenance work.
• Experience in plumbing, electrical work, painting, masonry, and welding will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair work.
• Assist with plumbing, electrical, painting, masonry, and welding tasks as required.
• Drive official vehicles when necessary.
• Support the operational and administrative needs of the High Commission.
• Ensure facilities and equipment are maintained in good condition.

Required Skills

• Communication skills.
• Basic maintenance and repair skills.
• Driving skills with a valid licence.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Time management and reliability.

Salary & Benefits

Basic Salary: LKR 30,578.00 per month

Monthly Allowance: LKR 19,525.00

Attendance Allowance: LKR 100.00 per day attended
