Child Development Fund (CDF) is seeking a highly experienced and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its organizational operations and strategic initiatives in Trincomalee, Sri Lanka. Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Management, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field
• Master’s degree will be considered an added advantage
• Minimum 7 years of progressively responsible experience in NGO or development sector management, including senior leadership experience
• Proven experience in program management, donor engagement, grants management, and organizational leadership
• Strong understanding of child-focused and community development programming
• Experience in financial oversight, compliance, and team management
• Excellent networking, communication, and negotiation skills
• Strong report writing and proposal development skills
• Fluency in English and Tamil is highly desirable
• Sinhala language skills will be an added advantage

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and organizational management for Child Development Fund
• Ensure effective program implementation and quality assurance
• Oversee financial management, compliance, and accountability processes
• Lead resource mobilization and partnership development initiatives
• Manage human resources and staff capacity development
• Represent the organization externally with donors, partners, and stakeholders
• Promote safeguarding, PSEA compliance, transparency, and sustainable development practices
• Align organizational operations with the vision, mission, and strategic priorities of CDF
