The selected candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring QA/QC requirements for electrical, mechanical, instrumentation, control, fire protection, ELV, and MEP-related works associated with major projects.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement MEP QA/QC plans, inspection and test plans, checklists, and testing procedures.
• Review drawings, specifications, method statements, and material submittals.
• Inspect and verify quality of MEP and electrical works.
• Monitor:
  • Underground cable laying
  • Overhead line works
  • Cable terminations
  • Earthing systems
  • Monitoring systems
  • Testing & commissioning
• Conduct and witness:
  • Insulation resistance tests
  • Continuity tests
  • Earth resistance tests
  • High voltage/pressure tests
• Ensure installations comply with:
  • CEB requirements
  • Project specifications
  • International standards
  • Manufacturer instructions
• Raise NCRs, site observations, and corrective action reports.
• Coordinate with engineers, contractors, consultants, and project representatives.
• Support project handover documentation and quality close-out activities.

Candidate Profile

Applicants should possess:

• Bachelor’s Degree in:
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Building Services Engineering
    from a recognized university

Alternative Qualifications

• NDT / HNDE / NDES Diploma holders with strong QA/QC experience may be considered for inspector-level roles.

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP QA/QC.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in:
  • Power projects
  • Renewable energy
  • Wind farms
  • Substations
  • Transmission/distribution projects
  • Industrial or infrastructure projects
