Job Description

The selected candidate will lead development teams, manage software delivery cycles, mentor engineers, and contribute to architectural decisions while ensuring high-quality software development practices.

The role requires extensive experience in full-stack technologies, Agile methodologies, CI/CD processes, and technical leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Team & Project Leadership

• Lead the BAU development team
• Manage project sprints and release cycles
• Coordinate software development activities
• Ensure timely and efficient project delivery

Technical Leadership

• Solve complex technical challenges
• Guide development teams on high-impact issues
• Assess and resolve technical risks
• Provide architectural guidance

Process Improvement

• Identify and implement development process improvements
• Improve methodologies and tooling
• Enhance overall team productivity
• Act as a change agent within the engineering team

Architecture & Strategy

• Contribute to technical architecture planning
• Participate in design discussions
• Develop scalable and maintainable solutions
• Align technical strategy with business objectives

Mentorship & Coaching

• Mentor and coach developers
• Conduct code reviews
• Improve technical and leadership capabilities of team members
• Support quality assurance initiatives

Software Development

• Develop high-quality production code
• Build scalable enterprise applications
• Ensure software stability and maintainability
• Apply strong system architecture principles

Technical Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• 7–10 years of professional software development experience
• Significant experience in senior or lead engineering roles
• Strong expertise in:
  • Node.js
  • TypeScript
  • React
  • PHP
  • Elixir
• Experience leading software teams and managing project lifecycles
• Strong understanding of software architecture best practices
• Extensive Agile/Scrum experience
• Experience using:
  • Jira
  • Confluence
• Familiarity with:
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Terraform
• Strong workload and timeline management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS cloud platform experience or certifications
• Automotive industry domain knowledge
• Experience with enterprise-scale systems
• Leadership and mentoring experience
