Job Description

The Relationship Officer will be responsible for managing customer relationships, identifying business growth opportunities, providing financial advice, and ensuring excellent customer service while maintaining compliance with banking regulations and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities to grow the customer portfolio
• Acquire new clients and expand existing relationships
• Provide personalized financial advice and banking solutions
• Maintain high customer satisfaction through effective service
• Monitor portfolio performance and manage risks
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and bank policies
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations
• Participate in business development and market-related activities

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should ideally:

• Possess part or full professional qualifications acceptable to the bank
• Have approximately 6 years of relevant experience in branch banking
• Possess mandatory exposure to credit operations
• Have sound knowledge of financial statement analysis
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Possess strong negotiation abilities
• Be capable of handling relationships with internal and external stakeholders
