The bank is currently looking for a highly experienced banking professional to join its Branch Network team as a Senior Relationship Manager for the Middle Market segment.

Job Description

The selected candidate will lead a team of Relationship Managers responsible for monitoring and developing customer portfolios while driving business growth and maintaining strong client relationships.

The role also involves generating new business opportunities, managing credit delivery, and ensuring portfolio profitability within the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and execute business strategies related to SME and middle market banking
• Identify customer segments and business opportunities within the assigned region
• Monitor competitive market activities across customer segments
• Achieve business targets related to Middle Market Assets & Liabilities
• Structure facilities based on credit appraisals and collateral/security valuations
• Manage and maintain a profitable regional customer portfolio
• Ensure effective relationship management across portfolios
• Stay updated with banking policies, procedures, and operational guidelines
• Oversee recoveries of Middle Market Asset Portfolios
• Mentor and coach team members while acting as a senior resource person
• Lead teams to achieve business performance and operational goals

Candidate Requirements

Applicants should possess:

• Degree in Banking, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
  OR
  Equivalent full professional qualification
• Around 10 years of banking experience
• Minimum 4 years of experience in credit operations including managerial experience
• Strong relationship management and negotiation skills
• Excellent persuasion and influencing abilities
• Strong analytical and people management skills
• Minimum performance rating of “Meets Expectation” for the last performance year
• Applicants with disciplinary actions within the last 12 months will not be considered
